This program was created to help new nursing school graduates make the transition into a nursing career. You’ll start with a new grad celebration dinner. Then, through the program, you’ll conduct an NCLEX Review, cover test-taking strategies and attend a welcome reception. The program also includes several courses:

  • Transition from Student to Nurse
  • Time Management Strategies and Methods for Prioritization
  • Methods for Good Communication Skills
  • Stress Management
  • The Role of the RN in Delegation and Working with Ancillary Staff
  • Dealing with Conflict
  • Methods and Scenarios for Improving Critical Thinking Skills
  • Working with Physicians and other Team Relationships
  • Ethical Dilemmas and Being a Compassionate Caregiver
